I've always found yoga extremely grounding, but what with the marathon earlier this year and the launch of one or two new projects, I've had plenty of excuses for not making time for it.
I am well and truly back in the swing of things now and feeling better than ever.
I've been following a form of Tantric yoga, called Anusara, which is all about connecting with your chakras to promote creativity. This may be hard for some of you to believe, but I have never felt more creative. I am literally overflowing with ideas.
Yoga was originally designed as a way to clear the mind before meditation, whilst promoting flexibility within the body, so that people could sustain a cross-legged position for extended periods of times.
If your feeling stressed, burnt out or generally out of balance, I would really recommend giving it a try. My good friend Alexa Kho runs monthly yoga workshops.
